i'm not sure if you're kidding or not, but whatever that's not the point. this isn't in response to your post, but since this topic came back i have to say something.

my sisters fiance and my brother were actually YELLED at, not just made fun of, but actually yelled at for liking this movie/musical by a 'friend' of theirs. he was actually getting upset and verbally attacking them (with everything from 'fag' to 'you just CAN'T like it!'). and then another person they know was over my house and we were all saying how we should go see it again. this person, obviously homophobic and was obviously going out of his way to make sure everyone knew he was not gay was saying stupid shit like "i don't want to see a movie with a bunch of fags". i mean, honestly, what the hell is wrong with people these days? it is 2005, i thought we were supposed to be more accepting in this day and age. shit like this gets me SERIOUSLY riled up and so pissed off at people ilke that, that i could never talk to these two people again even if i wanted to.

i've also read a lot of reviews of this movie where people are walking out of the theatre or saying out loud "Eww" or "gross" during the kissing scenes between Angel/Collins or Marueen/Joanne. i guess i just honestly don't understand how there can be so much hatred out there just because people are gay, or that there are gay characters in a movie.

okay i don't really know if that rant had a point, but i saw that this thread came back out of nowhere with a stupid post and that had just happened so i felt the need to say something.
