my father bought 10 tickets to see the Rolling Stones on their last tour, does that count as obsessive? He didn't see their shows near him, just in venues two hours away.

Wow, me too. Well, I'd rather girls close to my age, but I'm really beginning to appreciate middle aged women. Weird...

cor3y wrote:Could be, I guess. I can't answer that because my plan involves a family and I can't picture my life, or any life, any other way. But that's just me. It's the ultimate responsibility and causes the biggest change of lifestyle. Partying and having fun stops, or should stop, being your no.1 priority, and is replaced by the welfare of your spouse and any children you have. But like I said, thats just my life. I can't see a life without a family even worth living.

Well, this coming from someone who could never have children, I don't see things that way. I think that I want to be with my spouse so much that I'm so selfish that I want him and only him for the rest of my life. I want to be able to have freedom to be able to just go out when we want to. Don't get me wrong, I love kids. Especially my nieces and nephews... last Christmas I spent two of my paychecks just buying them things they wanted just to see them look happy... but I think for my own life I would rather just be married and spend the rest of my life with my husband.

Having a husband = having a family. I don't think you NEED kids to really have a "family," so we're on the same page here.

you also don't need a husband to have a family. i have a feeling if you're not married and have kids, you'd consider them your family
