It IS especially cool that the band could stay cool when they became "cool." Even when they are being drooled over and overplayed and all, they are still producing some excellent music. I hope that remains the case with OLP since I kind of see them going in similar directions.

I went through an Incubus phase long ago and then for some reason my OLP phase took me on a ride where I only listened to OLP and couldn't get hardcore into other bands for a long time. But I remember when AmishMouse and I had a talk a few months ...

The Strokes seemed like a fun band but I bought their cd and the entire thing is just like one long song. That's how much it all seems the same to me.

Every time that girl opens her mouth to scream I just bust out laughing! And the humor has not even worn off a bit after seeing it so many times. I rarely laugh out loud at things, but this video just makes me die laughing. I love it.

But maybe we will all get so used to seeing OLP on MTV that we start watching MTV more and more frequently and soon we'll be brainwashed by it and we'll all love crap pop instead of good music. It could happen.

Laziness, it makes a mess if you use real dye and stains things such as bathtubs and towels, and if you use spray stuff it feels realllly icky, costs money, green kool-aid doesn't work on most colors of hair other than blonde, AND self image, amongst others perhaps...
