In a recent interview with Duncan he said they're aiming for new music next year and due to the anniversary of spiritual machines it will have a bend towards that....which sounds fucking awesome to me

Also, the new track is fun. Here's hoping it's not just a one-off red herring ...

Looks like OLP will be opening for Bush and Live for two dates:

- June 14 in Canandaigua, NY at CMAC
- August 30 in Bethel, NY at the Bethel Woods Center for the Arts

Songkick has them listed as an opener for a bunch of shows. It looks like they're doing most of the tour.

Right? It's always great seeing them there. Same set as the past few nights but they swapped out Army for Mafia - which was a nice surprise.

Probably not but is that surprising? It's their first full-length in almost 6 years and it comes on the heels of Curve which didn't perform well at all. I just think the reality is that casual fans no longer ...

Anyone else buying tickets? Just bought mine for Rebel in Toronto and also thinking about buying the VIP experience but $275 may be a bit too steep. I cannot seem to be able to SELECT SEATS for Massey Hall tho... it only give me random seat options which kinda sucks.

These guys are great. I really like the new album.

It's not a single. Raine tweeted the other day that him and Steve were working on a song they think is going to be the first... which means this isn't it.
I actually wouldn't even be surprised if this wasn't included on the record at all. It feels like a one-off thing for the OWS movement more ...

I've always felt that if a record dares to venture over the 40 minute mark, you'd better have something important to say. Quality always trumps quantity.

I like the fact that we have 10 times more videos than the past handful of albums, it's always cool to see the whole behind the scenes / making of work and what not.

But there's about 10 times less musical content than before. In the past we've seen / heard maybe up to 3 or 4 full 30 second song ...

That clip from "The Board" is awesome. It's dancier than anything I've ever heard them do and I like that a lot.

By the way, thank you so much for the updates, Trusty. This is wonderful.
